Woods Ascension LLC ("Woods Ascension," "we," "us," or "our") operates woodsascension.com and provides outbound marketing, appointment setting, search engine optimization, and lead generation services to business clients. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you contact us, request information, book a call, or submit our web form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you include in your message.
Business contact information we obtain from other sources. We build prospect lists for ourselves and for our clients using commercially available business data providers, publicly available business directories, and company websites. This information relates to businesses and the professional roles of individuals within them, and typically includes business name, industry, location, company size, contact name, business role, business email address, and business phone number. Information obtained from these sources is used for email and telephone outreach only. It is never used to send text messages.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL, through cookies and similar technologies.
Communication records. When you communicate with us or with a client we represent by email, phone, or text message, we keep records of that communication, including message content, call outcomes, call recordings where permitted by applicable law, and notes taken by our team. We use these records to maintain continuity across conversations and to avoid contacting you inappropriately or repeatedly.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Contact business prospects by email and telephone on our own behalf and on behalf of our clients
- Send text messages to individuals who have given Woods Ascension express written consent through our SMS consent form
- Respond to inquiries and schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate records of communications and preferences, including opt-out requests
- Provide reporting to our clients on campaign performance
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements
Where we send email or place calls on behalf of a client, that client is identified in the communication, and the client and Woods Ascension each act as controllers of the resulting communication records in their respective capacities. Text messages are sent by Woods Ascension only, from Woods Ascension's own number, and only to individuals who have given Woods Ascension express written consent as described below.
Text Messaging
We send text messages only to individuals who have submitted our web form at https://woodsascension.com/sms-consent and checked the box giving express written consent to receive text messages at the mobile number they provided. Checking that box is optional. It is not required to submit the form, to receive a response from us, or to receive any of our services.
We do not send text messages to purchased, rented, licensed, or third-party lists. Business contact information we obtain from commercial data providers, directories, or company websites is used only for email and telephone outreach and is never used to send text messages. We do not infer consent to text from a phone number appearing in an email signature, a public listing, a reply to an email, or any purchased data source.
Text messages are sent by Woods Ascension only, and relate to the request you submitted through our form. Message frequency varies based on your engagement with us. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at alan@woodsascension.com.
No mobile information, including phone numbers collected for the purpose of text messaging, and no consent to receive text messages, is sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is not shared with our clients. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that support the delivery of our own messages, and those providers are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We share information in the following circumstances:
With our clients. When we generate a lead or book an appointment on a client's behalf, we provide that client with the relevant contact and conversation details so they can serve the prospect. Mobile phone numbers collected through our SMS consent form, and consent to receive text messages, are excluded from this sharing.
With service providers. We use third parties to operate our services, including email delivery and campaign platforms, telephony and messaging providers, scheduling tools, business data and contact enrichment providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics tools. These providers process information on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
In a business transfer. If our business is acquired or merged, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Mobile information and SMS consent are not transferred for the acquiring party's own marketing or promotional purposes.
Your Choices and Rights
Email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email us to be removed.
Text messages. Reply STOP to any message, as described above. Reply HELP for assistance.
Calls. Tell us during any call that you do not wish to be contacted, or email us, and we will add you to our do-not-contact list.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at alan@woodsascension.com. Depending on your location, including if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we process business contact information for direct marketing, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interests, and you may object to that processing at any time.
We respond to requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Opt-out and do-not-contact records are retained indefinitely so that we can continue to honor your request.
Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and work with clients and service providers located in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
